Private Deposits

A Private Deposit allows funds to enter a vault through Privacy Pump’s Privacy Layer.

Instead of sending funds directly into a vault using a standard blockchain transfer, the deposit is processed through privacy infrastructure before reaching its destination.

The goal is simple:

Reduce unnecessary public visibility during treasury funding operations.

Standard blockchain deposits create a direct relationship between:

  • The funding wallet
  • The destination vault

This information becomes visible on-chain.

Private Deposits introduce an additional privacy layer between the sender and the vault.

This helps reduce direct exposure of treasury funding activity.

At a high level, the process is simple:

  1. User initiates a Private Deposit
  2. Funds enter Privacy Pump’s Privacy Layer
  3. Privacy infrastructure processes the operation
  4. Funds are released into the destination vault

The user experience remains simple while privacy infrastructure operates behind the scenes.

Additional privacy infrastructure is used before funds arrive inside the vault.

Private Deposits can be used with:

  • Personal Vaults
  • Private Multisigs

The privacy workflow remains consistent regardless of vault type.

Funding activity can reveal valuable information.

Examples include:

  • Treasury growth
  • Capital allocation
  • Team funding schedules
  • Operational timing
  • Trading activity

Private Deposits help reduce the amount of information directly exposed during these operations.

Users do not need to understand:

  • Zero-knowledge systems
  • Cryptographic proofs
  • Routing infrastructure
  • Privacy set mechanics

The process remains straightforward:

Choose the vault.

Choose the amount.

Confirm the transaction.

Privacy Pump handles the rest.

Private Deposits use Privacy Pump’s privacy infrastructure.

The ZK Pool is one of the core components involved in processing these operations.

Users interact with the deposit interface.

The Privacy Layer handles the underlying workflow.

Privacy Pump supports multiple treasury experiences.

Users may choose:

  • Standard Deposits
  • Private Deposits

This allows users to select the workflow that best matches their needs.

Private Deposits remain secured by Solana’s underlying blockchain.

Solana remains the settlement layer; review every transaction and account for network risk.

Transactions continue to be finalized on-chain.

Private Deposits focus on funds entering a vault.
