Private Deposits
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”A Private Deposit allows funds to enter a vault through Privacy Pump’s Privacy Layer.
Instead of sending funds directly into a vault using a standard blockchain transfer, the deposit is processed through privacy infrastructure before reaching its destination.
The goal is simple:
Reduce unnecessary public visibility during treasury funding operations.
Why Use A Private Deposit?
Section titled “Why Use A Private Deposit?”Standard blockchain deposits create a direct relationship between:
- The funding wallet
- The destination vault
This information becomes visible on-chain.
Private Deposits introduce an additional privacy layer between the sender and the vault.
This helps reduce direct exposure of treasury funding activity.
How Private Deposits Work

- User initiates a Private Deposit
- Funds enter Privacy Pump’s Privacy Layer
- Privacy infrastructure processes the operation
- Funds are released into the destination vault
The user experience remains simple while privacy infrastructure operates behind the scenes.

Relationship To The ZK Pool

The ZK Pool is one of the core components involved in processing these operations.
Users interact with the deposit interface.
The Privacy Layer handles the underlying workflow.
Privacy Is Not All-Or-Nothing

Users may choose:

This allows users to select the workflow that best matches their needs.
Security

Solana remains the settlement layer; review every transaction and account for network risk.
Transactions continue to be finalized on-chain.
