Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”The Settings tab allows vault members to manage vault configuration and identity information.
This is where important vault-level changes are proposed, reviewed, and applied.
Settings help keep vault information accurate while ensuring governance controls remain in place.
What Can Be Managed?
Section titled “What Can Be Managed?”The Settings section is used to manage information about the vault itself.
Depending on permissions and governance requirements, members may be able to update:
- Vault name
- Vault image
- Vault description
- Governance configuration
- Membership configuration
Changes are designed to be transparent and controlled through the vault approval process.
Vault Identity
Section titled “Vault Identity”Every vault has its own identity.
This includes:
- Name
- Image
- Description
A clear vault identity makes it easier for members to distinguish between multiple vaults and treasury structures.
Updating Vault Information
Section titled “Updating Vault Information”Vault information can evolve over time.
Examples include:
- Rebranding a project
- Updating vault descriptions
- Refreshing vault imagery
- Improving vault organization
When governance rules require approvals, updates become proposals before taking effect.
Governance Configuration
Section titled “Governance Configuration”The Settings section may contain governance-related configuration controls.
Examples include:
- Threshold updates
- Member management actions
- Security adjustments
These changes affect how vault decisions are approved and executed.
Because governance changes directly impact treasury security, they typically require proposal approval.
Security Considerations
Section titled “Security Considerations”Settings are not merely cosmetic.
Changes to vault configuration can affect:
- Governance structure
- Approval requirements
- Member permissions
- Vault organization
For this reason, important configuration changes are protected by the same governance system used throughout the vault.
Privacy Pump Approach
